Put your product where it belongs
Find the Right Spot: Place your product in the most accurate category or subcategory with the right product type attributes.
Stay Vigilant: If your listing was closed waiting for stock, re-check your categories and attributes once it’s live. Amazon continuously updates these, so staying on top ensures your products land in the right place.
After October 3, 2023, 208 attributes across 213 product types are required for new listings. Download the list of required attributes and affected product types.
Product types that aren’t listed are not affected by the requirement. The required attribute information gives customers more precise data to help them find and compare products. For example, customers will be able to accurately identify the “material” of product “coat” or the “capacity” of product “drinking cup” before deciding to buy.
